Job Summary

TLSE Engineering Inc. provides structural engineering services for low- to mid-rise buildings using timber, concrete, steel, and masonry, with an emphasis on practical solutions and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

TLSE is seeking an individual with structural engineering or construction experience to perform field reviews of the Company’s projects during construction. This is a part time position.

Duties

The successful candidate’s duties include, but are not limited to:
Representative of TLSE Engineering Inc. at project sites.
Visit multiple sites to verify structural designs against as-built conditions.
Prepare and document field observation reports, including location-referenced digital photographs.
Identify and report site issues and coordinate responses with project engineers.
Assist the TLSE engineering team in responding to RFIs and SSIs.




Attend site meetings as required.
Establish and maintain solid relationships with existing and prospective clients while representing TLSE Engineering Inc.

Qualifications and Experience
Personal qualities — integrity, self-motivation, interpersonal skills
Communication skills
Structural engineering and construction knowledge
Canadian Standards experience
Class 5 driver's licence

TLSE will provide the successful candidate with the necessary training and guidance to perform the duties effectively.

Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
