The Van Outreach Support Worker operates outreach vans during evenings, addressing urgent needs for shelter, food, and personal care items. By leveraging a client-centered approach, you will foster dignity and self-determination amongst marginalized community members.

Key Responsibilities:
Meet immediate needs with food and shelter provisions
Drive and operate outreach vans for transportation




Respond to emergency situations with assessment and documentation
Monitor client safety and provide basic first aid as needed
Advocate for clients seeking access to vital services

Requirements:
Experience in human services, particularly with homelessness
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean criminal record
Knowledge of harm reduction and housing-first principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Current CPR and First Aid certifications
