About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dry Cleaning Presser to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for finishing and pressing a wide variety of customer garments—from business suits and dresses to specialty fabrics—delivering the crisp, professional presentation our clients expect. Key Responsibilities
Operate commercial dry cleaning finishing equipment (such as utility presses, shirt machines, puff irons, and form finishers) safely and efficiently.
Professionally press, shape, and steam suits, shirts, delicate garments, and household items according to fabric specifications.
Inspect finished garments for wrinkles, missed spots, or fabric defects before sending them to inspection and bagging.
Identify and carefully handle delicate, vintage, or sensitive fabrics to prevent burning, shine, or stretching.
Organize and prepare orders to ensure customers receive their garments on schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized,



and secure pressing station, following all health and safety guidelines.
Assist team members with sorting, tagging, or general shop upkeep during peak periods as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience pressing garments in a dry cleaner or commercial garment-care setting is strongly preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
Valuable knowledge of textiles, fabric behavior, and appropriate pressing techniques.
Ability to stand comfortably for extended shifts and handle physically repetitive motions.
Solid attention to detail, precision, and high quality standards.
Punctual, dependable, and capable of working well in a small, rapid-paced team environment.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
