Shane Fence is a fence and gate contractor delivering high-security fencing for commercial and infrastructure projects across Ontario. We are seeking an experienced Fence Foreman to lead crew members and manage installation work in the field.

This role is suited to someone with a background in heavy civil, infrastructure, or ICI construction who is comfortable leading a crew, site operations, and keeping work moving safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Lead and direct a crew on active construction and rail corridor sites
Execute installation of chain link and welded wire high-security fencing systems
Oversee gate installation including swing gates, sliding gates, and operators
Interpret drawings, layouts, and site conditions
Coordinate daily activities, materials, and workflow on site
Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to project specifications
Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades
Train and support crew members in the field





What You Must Have
Minimum 5+ years fence installation experience (required)
Experience working on ICI, civil, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of chain link and welded wire / high-security fencing and gates
Proven ability to lead crews and manage site productivity
Ability to read drawings and carry out site layout
Valid driver’s license
Solid problem-solving and decision-making in the field
Focus on safety, quality, and productivity
