Assignment:
Part time 0.45 FTE Temporary replacement Educational Assistant position
Working with students in an Elementary classroom
Tuesday/Thursday and the occasional Friday
Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until December 18, 2026 with the possibility of extension
Duties will include providing assistance to students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom

Qualifications:
Experience working with students with complex needs would be considered an asset
Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships
Effective oral and written communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills and a positive personality
Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with co-regulation
Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment
Ability to work one-on-one or with a student in an inclusive setting
Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs
Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care, hygiene, and assisting with meals and/or medication
