About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mine Geologist to join their operations in East London . This position is crucial for the accurate estimation of mineral resources, supporting strategic mine planning and development. You will be responsible for geological data management, modeling, and interpretation to define the grade and tonnage of ore bodies.

This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to the success of mining projects within the Eastern Cape province, working within a dedicated team that emphasizes technical rigor and data-driven decision-making in resource evaluation and mine development. Collect, validate, and manage geological data from exploration and mining activities. Develop and maintain detailed 3D geological models using specialized software.

Conduct geological mapping, core logging, and geochemical analysis.



Collaborate with mine engineers and metallurgists to optimize resource extraction strategies. Provide geological input for mine planning, feasibility studies, and operational adjustments.

Master's degree in Geology or a related geoscience field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in mine geology and resource estimation. Proficiency with geological modeling software (e.g., Experience with exploration techniques and data acquisition.
