Make a difference in your community as an Aquatics Pool Coordinator with the Town of Whitby. This role emphasizes safety supervision, staff training, and community engagement in a hybrid work model.

As a Pool Coordinator, you will report to the Supervisor of Aquatics Services and ensure a safe and inclusive environment during public swims and rentals. Your key responsibilities will include training staff, resolving patron inquiries, and opening and securing the facility. You’ll build solid relationships internally and externally while embodying the Town’s CARE core values.

Key Responsibilities:
• Train staff in instructional standards and emergency procedures
• Supervise safety during swims and rentals




• Respond to patron inquiries and issues
• Instruct and examine leadership courses for attendees
• Manage facility access and safety protocols

Requirements:
• Minimum six months related experience
• Current Lifesaving Society certifications
• Knowledge of Ontario Pool Regulations
• Leadership experience with part-time staff
• Valid police criminal record check required
