Join Kina Gbezhgomi Child and Family Services as a full-time Child Well-Being Worker on Manitoulin Island, Canada. Focus on child protection through assessment, case management, and cultural connection.

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, this role mandates adherence to the Child, Youth and Family Services Act and agency policies. In this position, you will provide essential services, including investigation and intervention, aimed at safeguarding children and families. You may be required to rotate through several service areas such as Phone Screening and After Hours support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver mandated child protection services per regulations
• Conduct assessments and investigations in assigned cases




• Provide ongoing case management to families and youth
• Facilitate connections to culture and community resources
• Engage in emergency response for child safety

Requirements:
• Relevant experience in child protection services
• Understanding of First Nation standards and legislation
