Job Summary The job of the Lift Maintenance Electrical Journeyman is to maintain, overhaul and repair all electrical componentson lifts and facilities at the resort as required.
Essential Job Functions Be familiar with the operation of the controls and safety systems for all lifts.
Inspect, repair and maintain the electrical systems of the lift and facilities
Diagnose and repair malfunctions in control systems of lifts.
Assist with planning and performance of preventive maintenance activities.
Perform all needed electrical maintenance for the functional parts of lifts and associated resort buildings
Report to the supervisor, any maintenance activities performed.
Provide detailed documentation of all work performed.
Advise supervisor of needed parts or supplies.
Assist with training programs as required.
Ensure that all related activities are conducted in a safe manner through sound judgment and knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Abilities Preferred Journeyman Electrical Ticket (BC or Red Seal) or equivalent
Knowledge of electrical control circuits
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Must be able to, or be able to learn to, drive snowmobiles and ATV’s.
Must possess ability to perform physical activities that include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling and hearing.
Must be able to work in all winter weather conditions for extended periods.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
