As a member of our small but growing software development team, you will create and maintain a variety of operational and customer-facing web, mobile, and desktop applications to meet business requirements and standards for quality, performance, and security. Your work and experience will have a direct influence on the product and processes at WFS.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in a high impact manufacturing environment to deliver critical business applications
Maintain and enhance a variety of operational and customer facing web, mobile and desktop applications
Build and consume APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
Ensure backend systems are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.
Write clean, efficient,
and testable code following software development best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with .NET using C#.
4+ years building user experiences using a modern component-based UI framework.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience using relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
Experience using modern DevOps practices with Git version control.
Self-motivated and team-oriented, with a willingness to work as part of a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure while balancing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading major initiatives successfully
Experience creating and maintaining Rest and GraphQL APIs
Experience in building modern frontend development using Vue, React or similar from start to finish
Experience setting up and debugging CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Position Details:
This position is based at our modern office building located in Wallenstein, Ontario, only a 15 minute drive out of Kitchener-Waterloo and works primarily Monday to Friday, 40 hour work week.
