An Edmonton client is seeking a mechanically inclined Service Technician to join their growing team and support the diagnosis, repair, rebuilding, and testing of industrial powertrain components.

Service Technician Highlights

- Diagnose mechanical failures and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild transmissions, axles, and drivetrain components.
- Troubleshoot worn bearings, damaged gears, clutch failures, and other mechanical issues.
- Read service manuals, schematics, and OEM specifications.
- Test rebuilt components using OEM test benches and document results.
- Prepare completed units for shipment.
- Provide occasional local field service and technical support.
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings.




- Spend approximately 70% of the time in the shop and 30% supporting customers in office.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience repairing industrial or off-road equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Comfortable using diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read service manuals and schematics.
- Basic hydraulic knowledge; training is available.
- Comfortable working with basic electrical systems.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Hours & Wage

- Wage: $31.50–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
