The Planned
Pricing team sits within Lyft's Marketplace org and is responsible for forecasting, planning, and setting prices ahead of demand — ensuring pricing strategy is proactive rather than purely reactive. As an owner of a flow that shapes forecasting and long-term pricing decisions across the company, you'll tackle a wide range of problems — from large-scale distributed systems and data pipelines to experimentation and forecasting accuracy. Collaborate with engineers and partners in science & product to drive projects from inception, specification, execution, to launch Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable and maintainable code Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge Design and own the way pricing data is consumed, stored, and shared with the entirety of Lyft Utilize your expertise in Python, Golang, AWS to deliver robust and scalable solutions 1 - 3 years of software engineering industry experience ~ BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience ~ Extensive experience in object-oriented programming (ideally Python or Go)

The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $108,000 - CAD $135,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
