We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II (SDE2) to join the Customer Data Platform team within the Identity & Trust organization.

This team builds and operates the systems that manage customer data at scale. Our platform runs on AWS and supports high-throughput, high-availability services that are critical to Remitly’s products and regulatory obligations. As an SDE2, you will design and build high-quality backend services and APIs across a subset of the team’s systems.

You will operate independently in code construction, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will own features end-to-end,



handle challenging problems with clear constraints and trade-offs, and contribute to improving system quality, reliability, and performance. Own features or functional areas from technical design through production support.

Work with relational and non-relational databases to implement reliable, performant data access patterns. Improve code quality, testing, deployment, logging, and monitoring practices. Identify and mitigate obvious technical and delivery risks.
