Event Sales Coordinator The Event Sales Coordinator is a dynamic sales and client‑service role responsible for converting inquiries into booked events and supporting the planning process from start to finish. With a focus on relationship building, proactive outreach and operational collaboration, this position directly contributes to revenue growth and exceptional client experiences. Aramark chefs and dietitians are constantly reviewing the latest insights and food trends to find the next culinary innovation and help students discover their love of food. We partner with you to enhance the student experience, support parents, and collaborate with administration, all while delivering on the expectations of parents and the community. Actively respond to and qualify inbound inquiries by providing timely, compelling proposals and effectively managing the sales pipeline.

Consistently seek recent business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting across multiple channels, including cold calling, referrals, networking, venue partnerships and lead generation platforms. Create additional revenue opportunities by establishing preferred catering partnerships with event venues and referral partners. Attend networking events, industry functions and trade shows to develop new business relationships while strengthening existing client partnerships.

Deliver exceptional customer service that results in positive client feedback, repeat business and referral opportunities. Contribute to annual sales targets and confidently report on the current status of the sales pipeline, forecasted business and conversion performance. Monitor individual sales performance by tracking key performance indicators, including inquiry response times, proposal conversion, average event value, pipeline health and annual sales targets.





Participate in regular Regional Pipeline Review meetings to identify opportunities, remove roadblocks and drive sales performance. Monitor sales performance by adhering to Western Region KPIs on response times, conversion, pipeline health and annual sales targets, taking proactive action to achieve or exceed goals.

Event Planning

Assist with event planning as needed by providing expert guidance, anticipating client needs and asking the right questions to ensure every detail is captured. Manage time effectively to meet proposal, BEO and event planning deadlines while responding to clients within 24 hours Engage in site tours, tastings and planning meetings as required. Build long‑term client relationships by hosting entertainment meetings, lunches and networking opportunities where appropriate.

Utilize approved menus to maximize event revenue by confidently upselling menu enhancements, beverage packages and additional services. Maintain a strong understanding of facility capacities, production timelines, service standards and operational capabilities. Participate in post‑event debriefs, sharing client feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Minimum 3 years of experience in catering sales or event sales. Working knowledge of catering operations, banquet service and event logistics. Excellent communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills.

Ability to work evenings, weekends and attend on‑site events as required. Ability to travel to client meetings,



trade shows and regional accounts for training and business development.

Experience with catering and event CRM software. Business development experience within the hospitality, catering or events industry.

Experience building relationships with venues, event planners and corporate clients. The pay range for this position is $53,045.00 - $65,776.00. #
