Query Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This role will develop reliable data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics platforms using Big

Query and related GCP services.

The ideal candidate is a solid technical contributor who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve complex data challenges, and mentor other engineers.

Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable data warehouses, data marts, and analytics solutions using Big

Query.

Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and data models.

Build and manage batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines using GCP services.

Improve Big

Query performance and control costs through partitioning, clustering, materialized views, and workload optimization.

Implement data quality checks, monitoring, alerting,



and pipeline reliability standards.

Apply data security, governance, access control, and compliance best practices.

Collaborate with stakeholders, participate in technical design and code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior engineers.

Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in data engineering or a related discipline. 4+ years of hands-on experience with Google Big

Query.

Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, analytical functions, and data transformation.

Strong knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and large-scale data processing.

Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or another programming language.

Experience with GCP services such as Big

Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring.
