Job Description About the Job: We are seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer to drive the quality strategy, design scalable automation frameworks, and lead a high-performing QA team.

Ops—to ensure high-quality delivery across modern web, API, and enterprise applications.

Office Location: Toronto Employment Type: Permanent Role Type: New position Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days/week in office) Position Responsibilities: Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution across multiple projects and teams Design, develop, and scale robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Dev

Ops to ensure testability and quality throughout the SDLC Drive end-to-end automation, including building frameworks from scratch where required Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases Oversee test planning, test case design, execution,



and defect management Ensure comprehensive coverage across functional, regression, integration (SIT), and UAT testing Work closely with release management and deployment teams to support smooth product releases Establish QA standards, documentation, test architecture, and governance practices Analyze quality metrics and provide insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement Act as a key escalation point for quality risks, defects, and production issues Requirements Required Qualifications: 10+ years of software testing experience within Agile development teams 7+ years of strong hands-on test automation experience Proven experience leading QA teams or acting in a Lead capacity Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, REST Assured, Postman, or similar Solid programming skills in Java, Python, or Java
