School is seeking a Grade 7/8 Physical Education and Grade 7 Social Studies Teacher teacher to join their team! The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in supporting students,



have an unwavering belief that every child is a capable learner and will: ~ Has a background and training in Physical Education or experience in sports . Has experience or a willingness to learn to teach the Grade 7 and 8 Physical Education and Wellness curriculum.

Has experience or a willingness to learn Grade 7 Social Studies. Previous experience in middle schools (considered an asset). Demonstrate authentic inclusion, and is committed to meeting the needs of every student in their classes.

Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate. In order to ensure and maintain a safe and secure working and learning environment, applicants new to Lethbridge School Division who are offered employment must provide: A satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services. Proof of photo identification, may be a valid driver’s licence, provincial identification card as issued by a licensed government registry office, valid passport or Nexus card.

Documentation of a valid Social Insurance Number in the employee’s legal name. If valid Social Insurance documentation in the current legal name can not be provided, the successful candidate will be required to obtain a current one within three days of hire.
