This is a key role within Strategic Planning at Teck. With over 12 years of resource geology experience, you will provide technical authority and governance for mineral resource models across all four pits. Your expertise will guide decision-making and maintain standards, while actively promoting safety and fostering a culture of collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the technical authority for Mineral Resource Models
- Ensure compliance with internal standards during the R&R; process
- Clearly communicate uncertainty and risk to non-geologists




- Oversee integration of geological data into evolving models
- Provide mentorship to senior and developing geoscientists

Requirements:

- MSc or PhD in Geoscience or related discipline
- 12+ years of experience in resource geology
- Expert in geostatistics and estimation theory
- Proficient in geological modeling software
- Solid analytical skills with R or Python
