PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking an HSE Supervisor in Halifax, Nova Scotia for the QEII Healthcare Expansion. This role ensures compliance with safety management systems and legislative regulations.

As an HSE Supervisor, you will be integral to the QEII Halifax Infirmary Expansion Program. You’ll monitor field activity compliance, implement HSE plans, and conduct project inspections. Additionally, you will develop training and maintain effective stakeholder relationships while ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement project HSE plans and regulatory requirements
- Identify and deliver project-specific HSE training
- Lead HSE inspections and monitor safety plans
- Advise on hazard identification with teams
- Develop and evaluate project emergency response plans

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety
- 5 years of health and safety experience
- Robust understanding of OH&S; legislation
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of construction processes and technology
