We are currently hiring a Quality Inspector/Customer Liaison for our client; an automotive car seat manufacturer located in Mississauga.

Our client is located at Kennedy and Courtney Park

Day Shift Monday through Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM – Occasional Overtime as required

Pay Rate: Days: $17.95 Per hour.

General Summary:

The Liaison will be responsible for representing the respective supplier he/she is assigned to. The Liaison will monitor the quality of the product as it arrives at the designated facility. The Liaison will ensure the product arriving meets the quality standard as agreed to by both the supplier and customer. Any deviations from this quality standard will be communicated to the supplier in writing accompanied with pictures. The Liaison will interact with both customer and supplier with an understanding that he/she represents the supplier. If containment is necessary and additional manpower is required, the Liaison will seek permission from the supplier before additional manpower is hired. If additional manpower is required, the Liaison will manage the additional manpower responsibly.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure acceptable product only is shipped to the production lines / stores

· Communicate any problems or non-conforming material to the supplier

· Create a sound work relationship with both supplier and customer





· Ensure that the work is completed in a safe environment and following all procedures and rules.

· Ensure that his / her inspectors are working in a protected environment and following all procedures and rules.

· Scheduling the required manpower as required and communicates all requirements with ESP Operations Manager.

· Investigate quality issues and complete necessary actions as requested by supplier and customer.

· Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Automotive or Manufacturing Industry.

· Possession of a post-secondary degree is preferred.

· Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving.

· Ability to determine solutions for personnel and quality issues.

· Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications.

· Must be available to support customer needs on short notices.
