We are seeking a dedicated and growth‑minded CFO/Controller to join our leadership team. We are a small, family‑run business operating multiple franchised hotels (Best Western, IHG) and hospitality‑related businesses in Alberta. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work directly with ownership and be part of a hands‑on team. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us on a long‑term basis. The right person will help strengthen our financial operations and support continued expansion.

Even if you do not have traditional CFO‑level experience, we are willing to work with and develop the right individual who demonstrates strong business acumen, accountability, and a willingness to grow with us.

Requirements

- Strong accounting knowledge; experience with Sage 50 Quantum
- Background in hotels or hospitality is an advantage
- Ability to oversee and mentor a team of bookkeepers with varying skill levels




- Solid organizational skills, accountability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Duties:

Make sure all money coming in and going out of the business is tracked properly, the books are accurate, bills and payroll are done right, government filings are submitted, and the financial team is doing their work correctly. And keep the financial side of the company organized, honest, and running smoothly so ownership can make good decisions.

Work Arrangement
This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to on‑site locations as required.
