Duties

- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Caring for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)provide attentive, compassionate and consistent care based on the child's individual needs and established rotines.
- Assist with homework, teaching, and educational activities to support learning
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning tasks
- Provide care and support for children with special needs or disabilities as required
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times within the home or designated care area
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs




- Assist with bedtime routines and other daily caregiving responsibilitiesSkills
- Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
- Compassionate caregiving skills, especially when working with individuals with disabilities
- Solid organizational skills to manage daily routines effectively
- Ability to perform light cleaning duties to maintain a tidy environment
- Teaching skills to support educational activities and developmental milestones
- Cooking proficiency for meal preparation tailored to children's preferences and dietary restrictions
- Patience, reliability, and excellent communication skills to foster trust with families

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about childcare who enjoy creating a positive environment for children’s growth and well-being.

REQUIREMENT:

- Emergency child care first aid and CPR
- First Aid Certificate
- Caregiver Certified (6-8 months course)

Pay: From $23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
