We are looking for reliable, friendly, caring staff that enjoy working with young children. Your role as the Preschool ECE requires energy and enthusiasm to engage children in academic programming, games, and outdoor activities. You will be working in a team workplace and have a vital role in everyday Christian programming.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Positively interact with parents, students and staff
· Robust understanding of developmentally appropriate programming, with the ability to provide accommodations
· Implement stimulating inquiry-based activities for children, following the Ministry of Education’s How does Learning Happen? Ontario’s pedagogy for the Early Years
· Document child’s activities and daily observations. Maintain daily record keeping of attendance, daily log books, accidents reports and illness reports
· Maintain a healthy, warm and safe environment
· Assist children with washroom routines, dressing, and mealtimes
· Lead morning devotionals
· Hours are determined by needs of centre
· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
· Staff are required to attend meetings and training sessions

Required Qualifications:
Early Childhood Educator Diploma
In valuable standings with the College of ECE
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C
Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check, dated within the last six months
Up to date immunization records a 2-step TB test
1-2 years experience
