Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Live-in Superintendent to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a 8 unit residential property in Sault Ste Marie. This role offers the unique benefit of living on-site, allowing for immediate response to property needs and fostering strong tenant relationships. The ideal candidate will bring property management experience, and leadership skills to ensure our property is well-maintained, safe, and efficient.

Duties

- Manage day-to-day property operations, including maintenance requests and tenant communications
- Oversee routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure property standards are met
- Coordinate repairs
- Respond promptly to emergency situations or urgent repairs to minimize downtime or tenant inconvenience

Skills

- Strong management and leadership abilities
- Property management
- Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination
- Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components,



and industrial safety standards

This role comes with a reduced monthly rent on your unit, plus hourly pay for all time worked. The rent discount recognizes your on-site availability and presence at the property, while your hours are tracked and paid separately for tasks like maintenance, cleaning, unit turnovers, and tenant support.
