Who We Are Looking For, and What We Have to Offer: Our Edmonton team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee Supply, Place and Finish (SPPF) projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in concrete and road construction, with the ability to manage work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Applicants must be reliable, safety-conscious, organized, and able to lead projects and crews effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage SPPF projects.
- Support and oversee the installation of granular base course and concrete, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.
- Schedule labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and deliveries to support project requirements.
- Lead and support project crews while reinforcing safe work practices and company expectations.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, costs, quality, billing, and schedule.
- Communicate with customers, site representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Review project drawings, specifications, quantities, and site conditions.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues promptly, and adjust work plans as required.
- Ensure required documentation, including hazard assessments, inspections, and project records, is completed accurately.
- Support estimating, tendering, change management, and project closeout activities as required.
- Travel to project sites daily.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is an asset; candidates with five or more years of relevant concrete construction, road construction, and project-management experience will also be considered.
- Experience with Supply, Place and Finish concrete work would be considered an asset.
- Strong project-management and contract-administration experience.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, equipment, materials, and site operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to coordinate multiple parties and priorities on active construction projects.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and eligibility to be insured under the company insurance plan.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction scheduling or project-management software is an asset.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
