Position Overview

The Server is responsible for providingfriendly, professional, and efficient food and beverage service to guests atthe Prairie Rose Kitchen restaurant and Red Willow Café grab-and-go. Thisposition ensures guests receive a welcoming and memorable experience whilemaintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and food safety.

The server will guide guests through menuoptions, processes orders accurately, maintains service areas, and adaptsservice to the relaxed pace and wellness positioning of the spa.

Key Responsibilities

- Greetguests promptly and provide knowledgeable, courteous service.
- Explainmenu items, ingredients, dietary options, beverages, and daily featuresaccurately.
- Take andenter orders correctly, communicate modifications clearly, and verify allergyrequirements.
- Deliverfood and beverages efficiently and check guest satisfaction at appropriateintervals.
- Processpayments, room or wristband charges where applicable, gift cards, and otherapproved transactions accurately.
- Maintaintables, counters, displays, condiment stations, beverage areas, and servicesupplies.
- Supportgrab-and-go stocking, product rotation, packaging, labelling, and presentationas assigned.
- Completeopening, side-work, and closing duties.
- Participatein tastings, mock service, opening setup, and product knowledge sessions.
- Respectguest privacy, relaxation,



and pace while remaining attentive and available.
- Recommend suitablemenu items, beverages, and additions based on guest preferences.
- Respondprofessionally to concerns and involve a supervisor when service recovery isrequired.
- Communicateclearly with culinary, bar, and support teams to maintain smooth service.
- Followfood safety, responsible beverage service, allergen, sanitation, cash-handling,and occupational safety procedures.
- Maintainclean, dry, and unobstructed service areas and immediately report accidents,hazards, equipment concerns, and other safety issues promptly.
- Recognizeguest cues and adapt service style to individual needs.
- Assistwith server, host, busser, and food-runner training and mock services.

Qualifications

- Previousexperience in food and beverage restaurant, café, or hospitality operations ispreferred.
- Ability towork in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong customerservice and communication skills.
- Serve ItRight Saskatchewan (SIRS) certification is required.
- Safe Food Handling Certification is an asset.
- WHMIScertification is preferred.
- First Aideand CPR certification is an asset.
- Minimum 19years of age.
- Ability towork flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shiftsas required.
