Associate Physician - Diagnostic ImagingAHS is looking for an Associate Physicians to work at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre - Diagnostic Imaging Department. This is an alternate physician provider role in which the successful candidate will work with a limited medical license issued from the College of Physician and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). The incumbent will work within the Hospitalist group under the direction of an attending physician and within a multidisciplinary team setting to deliver acute patient care.Description:We are currently hiring an Associate Physician position to support the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre - Diagnostic Imaging Department. Applicants must be a graduate of a medical school located outside of Canada and the United States, listed in the Foundation of Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) International Medical Directory (IMED). Experience in an acute hospital based care facility within the last 3 years. Preference will be given to applicants who have had active acute care surgical experience within the last 3 years.Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME): Must have completed a recognized orthopedic or general surgery residency program with a successful completion of an existing board exam.
