RWDI is seeking passionate students for a four-month Model Builder Co-op beginning January 2027. In this role, you’ll construct intricate models using various materials to simulate real-world conditions. You'll work collaboratively, using your creativity and technical skills to support engineering projects and environmental analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build cityscapes at scales of 1:300 to 1:400
• Use foam and model-making materials for accuracy
• Interpret technical drawings and reference materials
• Operate hand tools and shop equipment efficiently
• Collaborate with the team on model production
Requirements:
• Experience in model-making or crafting
• Solid spatial awareness and 3D conceptual skills
• Proficient with hand tools and assembly techniques
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (RHINO Sphere is a plus)
• Effective team collaboration and communication
