Senior Manager, Marketing Communications (14 Month Contract)Position SummaryAs a Senior Manager, Marketing Communications and part of the MX Marketing Team, you will drive the marketing strategy across the CEJ including customer targeting, media and communications strategy for mobile eXperience (MX) business unit. You will develop and lead the planning processes for various campaigns in the MX business unit, including product positioning and Integrated Marketing plans. As part of the MX Marketing team, you will own all of the Connections Planning / Integrated Marketing Process stage gates and be responsible for, but not limited to, leading/orchestrating the key decisions about creative direction, marketing partnerships, media rotation, paid and owned communications.You will be a thought leader and provide end-to-end oversight for all assigned marketing campaigns to ensure alignment to overall strategy and flawless execution. In this role, you will need to define and manage integrated marketing plans and be proficient in precision / performance marketing with the ability to course correct activity based on KPIs and sales performance. You will also be the main point of contact with the Product, Channel Marketing, and Corporate Marketing Teams, providing input and alignment on marketing direction / GTM planning and Brand Governance.Role and ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and lead the planning of marketing campaigns & plans, setting explicit campaign milestones, channel priorities, and go-to-market frameworks aligned with key brand and business priorities and KPIsBusiness results {revenue, profit and share growth}, brand KPI improvement and course correction plans where necessaryDevelop marketing strategies including media and performance marketing tactics – ATL (Digital, Social, TVC, Influencer, PR) and creative for both displays,
POP and in-store collateral (BTL); Drive alignment with agencies by leading the business and creative briefing process as well as serve as the key project manager to ensure deadlines and deliverables are metConduct brand health & competitive assessments and develop a routine forum for sharing with Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Channel Marketing and other teams as necessaryStandardize the campaign briefing process and establish a regular review cadence that ensures consistency across all marketing campaignsInstill efficient management routines, including but not limited to Sr. Leadership updates, weekly agency status meetings and bi-weekly meetings with cross-functional teams to gain alignment on plansLead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of brand managers, while managing agencies to keep them accountable to timelines and resultsSkills and QualificationsRequirements:Education:A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in training and experience preferredKnowledge:Strong understanding of marketing brands sold through retail an online channelsMust have Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preparation skillsCapable of creating and maintaining a complex Marketing Strategy, Plans and ProgramsExperience:Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing management within a consumer context in Canada preferredExperience managing a marketing team consisting of several direct reportsWorking in a matrix environment within a function supporting a key sales divisionCompensation and Benefits:Salary range: $120,000 to $165,000 (actual pay determined based on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience)Fantastic employee discount on all Samsung productsCompetitive SalaryEmployer paid Medical and Dental coverage from day oneFree on-site gymSubsidized Cafeteria; including free Starbucks coffee/latte machineEmployee Referral programVirtual Pet CareAdditional Well Being Days for better work life-balanceExtended health and dental benefits with spending accounts, wellness and well-being benefits and other employee perksWork Arrangement:On-siteLocation: 2050 Derry Rd W Mississauga, CanadaFull time14 Month Contract#J-18808-Ljbffr
