Health & Safety Professional – Windsor, OntarioLocation: Windsor, OntarioPosition Type: Health & SafetyDepartment: OperationsVacancy: 1Compensation: $73,000 - $105,000Pre-Employment Requirement: Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checksAbout The RoleWe're seeking a Health & Safety Professional to support the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of safety systems and compliance programs at our Windsor, Ontario facility. Working closely with the Plant Manager, Production Managers, Quality Assurance Manager, front‐line supervisors, and corporate partners, this role ensures that ADM maintains a secure working environment while meeting internal and external reporting requirements.The Health & Safety Qualified must be detail‐oriented, capable of meeting strict deadlines, and able to manage multiple priorities within short turnaround times. This role plays a key part in advancing ADM's safety culture and achieving our goal of "Only Zero Is Acceptable."What You'll DoChampion ADM's "Only Zero Is Acceptable" culture through engagement, leadership, and innovationMaintain a safe working environment by enforcing standards, correcting unsafe behaviors/conditions, and conducting regular inspectionsAssist with incident and accident investigations and follow up on corrective actionsPromote and lead Near Miss reporting initiativesEnsure compliance with provincial and federal legislationSupport and guide Joint Health and Safety Committee activitiesCollaborate with the EHS Area Manager to implement ADM health and safety programsDeliver required training to managers, hourly employees, and contractorsEnsure consistent compliance with ADM, WSIB, and government regulationsDevelop, implement, and maintain safety, environmental, and compliance programs, records, and reportsProvide daily updates to management on safety, food safety, and environmental concernsParticipate in and support client, regulatory, and third‐party auditsEnsure corrective action plans are implemented and completed on scheduleWork across all levels of the plant, including in extreme temperatures, heights,



and confined spacesPerform other safety‐related tasks as assignedWhat You BringStrong computer, communication, leadership, and problem‐solving skillsWorking knowledge of plant operations and food processing environmentsAbility to walk, climb ladders, use tools, and work in confined spaces and extreme temperaturesAbility to work both in office settings and industrial environments for extended periodsWillingness to travel or relocate to other ADM facilities as neededAvailability for occasional off‐hours or weekend workAbility to effectively communicate updates and improvement recommendationsEducation and ExperiencePreference Will Be Given To Candidates WithBoard of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certificationCertified Fire Protection Specialist designationFirst Aid, CPR, and AED certificationBachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum five years of experience in a dedicated health and safety position with knowledge of industrial environmental/regulatory complianceOther RequirementsMust work in accordance with all local, provincial, and federal regulationsMust comply with all ADM safety and EHS standardsBenefits And PerksEnriching the quality of life for the world begins by taking care of our colleagues.
