every day.What makes you a great fit?Maintaining resident records and required documentation in accordance with policies and procedures and legislative requirementsAdministering medications as prescribed and observing changes in condition and reporting them to the Director of WellnessReporting incidents / near misses, illness or problems with residents to the Director of Wellness / General ManagerProviding guidance to the Guest Attendants to ensure that care assignments are completed and that changes in residents’ needs are reported to the Director of WellnessMaintaining a clean, safe environment for residents utilizing infection control principlesPerforming other duties as assignedWhat you need to know:Successful completion of Personal Service Worker certificate programSuccessful completion of Medication Administration training program provided on site and successful ongoing quarterly evaluation of competenciesAbility to work independently and/or as a member of a teamCurrent CPR trainingExperience working with seniors and knowledge of the aging processAll applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector CheckYou must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permitSienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this positionSienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
