The Community Development Officer supports the planning and delivery of initiatives that address community needs, promote participation, and improve community well-being. Key Responsibilities
Engage with residents to identify community needs, priorities, and opportunities for development.
Coordinate and support the delivery of community projects, programmes, and events.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with local organizations, service providers, and community leaders.
Facilitate access to relevant services, information, and support.
Comply with organizational policies relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, and equal chance.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience working with communities, volunteers, or local organizations.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
Effective organizational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a range of partners.
