Temporary Customer Service Representative (14 to 16-Month Term)Maritime Electric Company, Limited, is seeking candidates for the position of Temporary Customer Service Representative (14 to 16-Month Term).Reporting to the Supervisor, Customer Service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the Maritime Electric Contact Centre located in Charlottetown. You will serve customers by:Communicating products and service information; Arranging for disconnections and reconnections; Receiving paymentsfor products and services; andResolvingcustomer product or service needs.You will be responsible for:Providing information about electrical services; Processing applications for electricity; andHandling payments and resolving customer issues.This is a temporary fourteen to sixteen month position in Customer Service.RequirementsAs a qualified candidate, you will hold a relevant Social Science degree such as Business Administration,



Education or a two-year diploma in a field directly related to customer service. You have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a customer service‑related field and will have demonstrated excellence in delivering quality customer service. You are comfortable with using various computer software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, and are quick to learn new programs. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and be able to effectively interact with customers.
