The person is responsible for concrete model programming and data communication under CRH innovation. This position also contributes to developing sustainable product solutions and technologies for all business units.Design, develop and maintain software solutions for cement and concrete modelsImplement algorithms for simulation, prediction and optimization of material performanceEnsure code quality, scalability and performance for computational needsTroubleshoot and debug software issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical goals,



ensure seamless integrations and maintain robust system performanceRequirementsSoftware Engineering or Computer Science degree4th-year students with strong internship experience1-2 years professional experience or 3+ internships (preferably at technology/research company) doing web development or general software development experienceExperience with Typescript, React.JS, and preferably NextJSExperience with serverless technologies (Vercel, serverless databases, upstash, etc.)Experience working with Git (version control)Experience working with CSSExperience with responsible web design for mobile/tablet viewable websitesExperience with python (for data analysis tasks)Experience working in research environmentExperience with cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure)Experience writing tests and working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub actionsThis job posting reflects an existing vacancy.
