Why Work Here?
You join an elite timber manufacturing operation recognized among the top companies worldwide in its specialty, offering exposure to unique and high‑profile projects. The organization supports long‑term career growth through apprenticeship hour sign‑off, partnerships with skilled trades programs, and flexibility to pursue carpentry education. You benefit from clear pathways to advancement into lead hand and supervisory roles, along with opportunities to travel and assist with installations. The role is based in a busy wood fabrication shop that produces wood panels and mass timber components for a variety of industries and projects. The culture is energetic and fast‑paced,
with an expectation that team members stay actively engaged and communicate well with each other. Work takes place primarily indoors on an open production floor with bay doors open and proper ventilation, with less than 10% of time spent in the yard gathering materials or packaging. You work with nail guns, saws, sanders, sand blasters, and other wood production tools, handling plywood sheets, timber elements, and structural panels. The facility has around 50 employees on site and offers extensive cross‑training on machines and onsite installation work.
