Elevate children's well-being at Manoah YMCA Kids Club as a part-time Support Leader. Engage with children ages 5-12, ensuring safety while fostering inclusive environments for diverse needs.
YMCA BC is on the lookout for a compassionate leader to join our before and after school program. In this part time role, you will provide crucial support to children, helping foster an inclusive space for all. Your responsibilities will include creating engaging activities and collaborating closely with a dedicated team to ensure every child feels valued and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer strengths-based support to children with diverse needs
• Implement individualized care plans and monitor their effectiveness




• Foster a collaborative environment and build relationships with families
• Lead indoor and outdoor activities promoting learning and wellness
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Minimum 19 years of age
• Experience with children aged 5-12 in inclusive settings
• Knowledge of behaviour support and child development
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Emergency First Aid & CPR certification required
Support children’s growth and empowerment at YMCA BC by providing essential leadership and inclusion.
