This role focuses on compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.Join CFPC as an Information Privacy Specialist, where you will support the Manager in fulfilling privacy compliance obligations and enhancing information practices. This permanent, full time role includes auditing records, managing information lifecycle, and ensuring alignment with Canadian privacy laws including PIPEDA. Your expertise will shape the College's commitment to transparency and responsible data management across departments.Key Responsibilities:Lead audits and assessments of records managementRegularly review and enforce records retention policiesConduct privacy risk and impact assessmentsAdvise departments on privacy-related inquiriesFacilitate training and develop compliance resourcesRequirements:Undergraduate degree in Information Governance or related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in privacy managementRequired industry designation (CIPP/C or CAPP)Proficient in communication and editingStrong knowledge of privacy legislation and records managementEnhance CFPC's privacy framework and contribute to improved health standards across Canada.
