POSITIONOVERVIEW

ThispositionisintendedtoprovidethesuccessfulcandidatewithatechnicalleadershiprolewithinCEMEngineering.

KEYDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES;

Inthisrole,youwill:

- EnsurethatclientsaresatisfiedwithCEMservicesthroughprofessionalconduct,diligentresponseandmaintainingsuccessfulrelationships.
- Designanddevelopelectrical,instrumentation,andcontrolsystemstohighspecificationsfocusingoneconomy,safety,reliability,quality,andsustainability.
- Provideexpertiseinyourareaofspecialization.
- Leadaprojectteamconsistingofengineersanddesigners/drafting.ProjectstypicallyincludecogenerationorCHP(gasturbine,steamturbine,andreciprocatingengineprimemovers),industrialsteamplants,hotwaterandchillerplants,renewablenaturalgas(RNG),hydrogen,anddistrictenergyprojects.




- Coordinatethedevelopmentoftheprojectconceptandleadtheprojectfromconcepttodetailedcontractdocuments(IssuedforConstructiondrawingsandspecifications),andthroughconstruction(contractadministration)andcommissioning.
- Assumeprojectmanagementtasksandresponsibilitiestoplan,track,andforecastprojectperformance.
- Supportengineeringproposalsandbusinessdevelopment.

QUALIFICATIONSANDEXPERIENCE

Tobesuccessfulinthisrole,youwillpossess:

- 7+yearsofrelevantworkingexperienceasacustomer-focusedElectrical,Instrumentation&ControlEngineer.;
- Fundamentaltechnicalengineeringknowledgeandstrongproblem-solvingskills.
- Bachelor’sDegreeinElectricalEngineering
- RegisteredProfessionalEngineerinoneormoreoftheCanadianprovincesingoodstanding.
- Highandmediumvoltagesubstationdesign,especiallyprotectionandcontrolsystems.
- Flexibilityandcapacitytoadaptinasmall,butdynamicconsultingfirm.
- Stronginterpersonalskillstomanagetheteam,theclient,andexternalparties(utilities,sub-consultants,contractors,equipmentvendors,etc.).
- Excellentoralandwrittencommunicationskills,includingtechnicalwritingskills.
- Proficiencyinstandardofficesoftware(e.g.,Office365).
