With a network of grain elevators, terminals, and agri-retail locations, we provide crop inputs, agronomic solutions, and grain marketing expertise to help producers succeed.We are seeking a Facility Assistant III to join our Grain team. This role is responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the facility and achievement of production targets, while demonstrating an exceptionally high level of customer service and providing leadership to other Facility Assistants.



This position is responsible for monitoring safe operating procedures and maintaining the corresponding documentation.Day to DayContribute to the movement of grain by loading/unloading shipmentsAssist the Operations Manager in mentoring and educating Facility Assistants in grading, inventory management and safety practicesExercise competency in grading canola, wheat, oats and barleyBin and blend all incoming grainMaintain the facility through regular maintenance and housekeepingBlend fertilizer according to established proceduresMaintain a safe and compliant working environmentWhat You'll Bring3+years' experience in the operation of a grain elevatorPost-secondary education preferably in agriculture or business is an assetExperience as a team lead/supervisorThorough knowledge and understanding of the grain industry, including grading factors and elevator equipmentTrained in health & safety procedures and a champion for safe work environmentAptitude for maintenance and repair of grain elevator equipmentValid driver's licenseAbility to work within environment subject to dust and allergens and lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs)Ability to work a adaptable work scheduleWhy Join UsAt P&H, our people are our priority.
