Our Client is seeking an experienced lawyer/litigator who has experience in personal injury, long term disability, insurance disputes as well as employment law or any other areas of law that will compliment their practice.This firm provides a highly supportive and cooperative environment with the focus on assisting their legal team in their own personal growth and development with their many years of experience. The opportunity provides a flexible workplace with 1-2 days onsite. They offer a platform for motivated professionals to develop and manage their own client base.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging personal injury, long-term disability, other insurance dispute and employment law litigation matters, including drafting and reviewing correspondence, pleadings, trials, mediation briefs, and affidavits of documents, pre-trial memorandaAll aspects of client engagement, meetings, day to day correspondenceDetermine the validity and scope of client claimsDispute resolution for clients via LAT case conferences, motions and hearingsAssist the case managers on Accident Benefits matters, progression,



and EUOs when neededPerform legal research as required with assistance internallyProviding top-tier client services, including attending mediations, discoveries, and other court proceedingsPrioritizing case files and handling sensitive information in a time-sensitive mannerCommunicating professionally and courteously with colleagues, clients and outside counsel/adjustersQualificationsLL.B. or J.D. from an accredited law school and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario5+ years of experience in personal injury,including motions, mediation and discoveriesDemonstrable experience with litigation filesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work proactively and collaboratively in a partially-remote team environmentProven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionOur Client offers a competitive remuneration package to include a base salary up to $165k per annum.
