This role is integral to maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and enabling efficient reporting processes within a dynamic, service-driven setting.Compensation:$26–$30 per hour (commensurate with experience)Key Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenancePerform bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial recordsPrepare and issue client invoices, monitor collections, and follow up on outstanding balancesAssist with payroll processing, employee expense reimbursements, and statutory deductionsAnalysis ofAR agingand follow-up on outstanding balances and General Ledger reconciliationsExperience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations and Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts for the management teamSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes,



including journal entries and financial reportingMaintain and organize financial documentation in compliance with Canadian accounting standards and regulatory requirementsAssist in preparing financial statements, financial presentations, internal reports, and audit documentationCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure proper financial tracking of projects and operational expensesIdentify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operationsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineMinimum 2+ years of experience within a Canadian service-based organizationStrong understanding of Canadian accounting principles, payroll processes, and compliance standardsHands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent ERP systemsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Zoho Books is an asset.Prosper Immigrationis an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
