About UsThe Miller Group, a subsidiary of Colas Canada, has been a Canadian leader in the construction and maintenance of transportation infrastructure since 1917.Role OverviewProvides general administrative and operational support, including managing time entry and payroll, coordinating work orders and vendor services, ensuring accurate documentation and cost tracking, maintaining shop operations through inventory control and file management, and handling routine clerical duties and inbound communications.ResponsibilitiesEnter technicians time daily and process payroll weeklyCreate, follow and close both internal and external work orders; download open work order reports weekly and close aged work orders, code invoices for foreperson’s approval, review and ensure all comments and costs have been entered into the system before the job is closed, coordinate incoming DARCI repair requests, coordinate outside service work with vendorsLiaise with vendors to ensure timely replenishment of shop inventory, including hardware, fittings, and miscellaneous shop suppliesInventory charge outsRestock parts inventoryCheck fluid inventory (DEF, coolant,
