About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Wellsite Supervisor to oversee drilling and completion operations at their sites near East London . This critical role demands strong leadership, exceptional safety focus, and a deep understanding of field operations to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective execution of well programs. You will be the primary point of contact on location, managing rig crews, contractors, and all operational activities. This is a demanding but rewarding role that offers the chance to directly impact project success and contribute to the company's operational objectives in the Eastern Cape . Your diligence and expertise will be paramount to maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise all aspects of drilling and completion operations on the wellsite.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Manage rig crews, service providers, and other personnel on site, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
- Monitor operational progress, troubleshoot issues, and make timely decisions to keep operations on schedule and within budget.




- Maintain accurate daily drilling reports, cost tracking, and inventory management.
- Liaise with onshore management, providing regular updates on operational status, challenges, and performance.

Requirements

- Significant experience as a Drilling Supervisor or Wellsite Supervisor in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of drilling fluid systems, well control procedures, and completion techniques.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental best practices in field operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a remote, demanding environment.
- Valid IWCF Level 3 or higher certification is required.
