PEI is the designated powerline service provider to BC Hydro for the Lower Mainland South and Okanagan regions, working alongside local BC Hydro crews to support transmission and distribution systems and serving FortisBC, municipalities and private‑sector customers.Qualifications and RequirementsA valid Class 5 driver’s licence and clean driver record from ICBC.Valid BC Traffic Control Person (TCP) ticket from BCCSA.Own method of transportation to get to and from work is preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.6 months–1 year previous experience as a Lane Closure Technician.Ability to stand and work for long hours (8–10 hrs)
