You will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching field technicians, managing incoming service requests, coordinating parts and materials, and ensuring technicians have the information and support they need to complete their work efficiently. If you are organized, service-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you are constantly managing multiple priorities, we'd love to hear from you.Benefits & PerksCompensation: $22-24/hourPlease note, this role is fully in-office in the client's Concord, ON officeMonday to Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM1-yearcontract covering a maternity leaveResponsibilitiesDispatch a group of technicians using internal software and other web-based programsDispatch daily work orders and service trips, ensuring technicians have the required information to complete their assignmentsFollow up on missing information, including site contacts, alternate site contacts, contractor information, and job detailsReview and dispatch incoming service requests received through phone calls, Traxits, emails, and other channelsProvide ongoing support to technicians regarding materials, parts, purchase orders, job information, site details, and previous visit findingsCoordinate parts and materials as required to support field techniciansConfirm parts information and locations and follow up on part availability, orders, and estimated delivery timesAttach required documents to service trips and work ordersEnter technician time entries,



including statutory holidays and on-call hoursFollow up on missing technician reports and ensure required information is receivedMaintain the dispatch dashboard, including placeholders, school assignments, training, and other scheduling requirementsCommunicate with technicians, customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure service requests are coordinated efficientlyEnsure service activities are completed in a timely and organized manner while following company policies and guidelinesSupport the Service Department with other administrative and coordination duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 1 year of dispatching experience is requiredPrevious experience in service coordination, scheduling, field service, or a similar environment is an assetStrong computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate new software and web-based programsExperience with dispatching or service management software is an assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and organizational abilitiesStrong attention to detail and follow-up skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of commitment to customer serviceSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, proactive, and organized approach to workAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
