Join St. Patrick High School as a Temporary Indigenous Graduation Coach, dedicated to supporting Indigenous students in their academic and career aspirations. Your mentorship will be key to their success.The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board is seeking a full-time Indigenous Graduation Coach until August 31, 2027. This role focuses on empowering Indigenous learners to achieve their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and transition into post-secondary education or the workforce.



You will advocate for students by connecting them with educational and community resources while fostering a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate a Circle of Caring Adults for comprehensive supportCollaborate with school staff to meet students' needsPerform needs assessments to identify barriersAct as liaison with families, chiefs, and councilsCreate a supportive workplace encouraging student engagementRequirements:Degree in Indigenous Studies, Social Sciences, or equivalentExperience working with Indigenous communitiesStrong ability to motivate and engage studentsDeep understanding of First Nations and Metis culturesEffective communication skills for swift interventionsEmpower Indigenous learners with dedicated support and guidance as their Graduation Coach at St. Patrick High School.
