As an Environmental Scientist you will have a balance of office and field work. Specifically, primary duties will relate to Oil & Gas Reclamation and Remediation.



You will report directly to the Manager of Reclamation and have the support of the entire Millennium team.Responsibilities:Conducting Gas Migration and SCVF TestingConducting Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I and Phase II)Conducting work associated with wellsite and flowline abandonmentConducting Spill Response for Oil & Gas propertiesGroundwater well sampling and analysisPreparing formal reports and approval submissionsOther duties as requiredWhat We Are Looking For:Post‐secondary degree or diploma (degree in Agrology, Environmental Sciences, or similar field preferred)Hold, or be eligible for, certification from a Professional Organization (SIA, APEGS, SASTT, ASPB, etc.)Experience in the environmental field considered an assetKnowledge of Saskatchewan oil and gas sectorExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to meet tight deadlinesValid Class 5 drivers license with clean abstractDesired Attributes (not required):Applicable, up to date Field Safety Tickets (First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive, etc)Experience leading field crews and managing subcontractors is beneficialExperience with maintaining, calibrating, and using a variety of monitoring instrumentsOur Staff Benefit From:Career and personal development opportunitiesEmployee mentoring programCompetitive wages and advantages
