Become an Instructor for the Dental Aide Program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, specializing in communication and professionalism in dental assisting. This contract position is based at the Regina Campus.Saskatchewan Polytechnic is on the lookout for a knowledgeable Instructor to facilitate the Dental Aide Continuing Education course. The role requires a solid background in dental assisting and the ability to effectively communicate core principles and practices. You will guide students through practical lab experiences and assess their progress throughout the course.Key Responsibilities:Prepare educational content and lab requirements ahead of classesSupport and guide students in their learning journeyConduct lab demonstrations and answer student inquiriesAssign and evaluate student coursework and examsPrepare any requisite paperwork for Continuing EducationRequirements:Completion of an accredited Level II Dental Assisting ProgramActive dental assisting license in SaskatchewanMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in the fieldIn-depth knowledge of modern dental assisting techniquesTeaching experience in dental courses preferredMake an impact as an educational leader in the dental field with Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
