With our friendly atmosphere and year-round recreation possibilities, Blind River will provide you with the opportunity to experience and live in a community with all the charms of a 'small town'.Employer: CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF BLIND RIVERLocation: Blind RiverDuration: Full TimeSalary: $34.57/hrClosing Date: October 02, 2026Job DescriptionBlind River is seeking an energetic, and highly motivated individual to join our team.The Town is accepting applications for the position of Fleet Technician, responsible for:Service and repair of all mobile units and stationary equipment, e.G., pumps, lawnmowers, sidewalk machines etc. utilized by the Town following maintenance scheduling and repair procedures as supplied by the manufacturer.Repair all minor and major breakdown/damage resulting from operations.Maintain a clean and safe work setting including work areas, garage floor, store area and equipment.Maintain records of repairs including work orders, parts utilized, parts purchased, repair time, etc.Operate and test equipment following repairs/maintenance.Maintain and order stock, when required as well as maintain a parts and stock inventory control list.Participate in fleet management activities as requiredReporting directly to the Public Works Foreperson and Director of Public Services, and working with a team of excellent municipal staff,
