You will collaborate with Design, Operations, Production, and Field installation and service stakeholders to carry out product and process improvement projects with the aim of increasing process efficiency. You will work closely with many engineering disciplines to find and implement opportunities for operational improvement.Job DutiesUse problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as well as knowledge of Engineering Principles and other Physical Sciences, to meet challenges with well thought plans, direct actions,



and thorough review afterwards.Support Engineering and Design needs for current and new-to-plant product commissioning for production.Investigate largest opportunities for product design improvements.Take ownership of assigned sustaining initiatives, including cost reduction, function and aesthetic improvements, and documentation creation and refinement.Supported Design staff through the execution of product design changes and complete documentation yourself when capacity allows.Support the company's ERP implementation through Product Data Definition and entry.Perform design calculations and preparation of equipment and material specifications.Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.Comply with all applicable OHSA, ESA, and other provincial regulatory laws, as well as company safety policies.Any other duties as assigned by the Sustaining Engineering Manager or Senior Executive team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering from an Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) accredited program.2 years of relevant design experience in one or more of the following areas: materials science, mechanical/electrical, machine design, and/or fluid dynamics.Proficient in Computer Aided Design,
